Course Contents:

  1. Basics of Grammar:
    • Parts of speech and use of articles
    • Sentence structure
    • Active and passive voice
    • Practice in unified sentences
    • Analysis of phrase, clause, and sentence structure
    • Transitive and intransitive verbs
    • Punctuation and spelling
  2. Comprehension:
    • Answering questions based on given texts
  3. Discussion:
    • Engaging in general topics and everyday conversations (topics selected at the teacher’s discretion, considering students’ proficiency levels)
  4. Listening:
    • Enhancing listening skills through documentaries and films carefully selected by the instructor
  5. Translation Skills:
    • Translating texts from Urdu to English
  6. Paragraph Writing:
    • Writing paragraphs on topics chosen at the teacher’s discretion
  7. Presentation Skills:
    • Introduction to presentations and deliberations

Note: Extensive reading is required for vocabulary building.
